AI & Film Development

AI & Film Development

L.A.B.A.S., in collaboration with filmmaker, writer and AI creator Vadym Fedorov-Moskvitin (Iam_Vadym_AI®), is developing an AI & Film Development programme focused on AI-assisted filmmaking, visual storytelling, creative production and international film development.

One of the first completed projects is ARK, a short AI-assisted film created with the support of L.A.B.A.S. The film explores the risks of transferring human choice, responsibility and decision-making to automated systems.

ARK has received four international festival selections:

VerticalMovie Festival — Rome, Italy
Official Selection

World AI Cinema Festival — Cannes, France
Official Selection • Semi-Finalist

Neu Wave AI Film Festival — Los Angeles, USA
Official Selection

First-Time Filmmaker Sessions — Lift-Off Global Network
Official Selection

A new short film, Generation of Aliens, is currently in production. The film explores memory, young people and the growing dependence of modern society on smartphones and digital technology.

In parallel, PROTOCOL: RECIPIENT, the first feature screenplay in the planned five-film PROTOCOL saga, has been developed as part of a wider international film development strategy. The project explores artificial intelligence, human decision-making, technological control and the future relationship between people and intelligent systems.

Through this programme, L.A.B.A.S. and Vadym Fedorov-Moskvitin (Iam_Vadym_AI®) aim to develop original film projects, explore new AI-assisted production methods and build international creative partnerships connecting film, technology, education and innovation.
